Ada Luisa Valdes Trillo


portrait_trillo_largeAda Trillo is a member of the CSNSF Board of Directors as well as active in the volunteer leadership where she is vice-chair of the Advisory Committee.

Ms. Trillo studied at the Special Post-Graduate Program  at Georgetown Family Center (Washington DC) from Sept. 2002 to June 2006. She has been with the Advisory Board for the CSNSF-EL Paso since 2003 and member of the CSNSF Board and has taught and developed courses in Bowen System Theory both in El Paso and Cd. Juarez, Mexico.  She has published two articles in The Family Systems Forum.

Her interests currently are focused in Societal Process and the role of anxiety in the challenging issue of border violence.  She is currently doing a case study  consisting of four cases of people directly affected by the border violence  looking behavioral and physiological changes in these individuals and their families and elements that buffer these individuals in dealing with the levels of anxiety on the Border.
