Teresa Karns Edmondson, MEd, LPC,  is the founder of Edmondson Consulting Group, a consulting firm specializing in coaching individuals and teams towards peak performance, and guiding organizations thru major change and transformation initiatives.  Ms. Edmondson  has worked with Fortune 100 firms both nationally and internationally, providing executive coaching, leadership development and organizational consulting services.  She brings over twenty (20) years’ experience in management, psychology and organizational dynamics to her workshops and keynote presentations.  She has worked with both profit and non-profit firms in the oil and gas, electronics, healthcare, law and software development industries, including ExxonMobil, Bayer Corporation, Shell Oil, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baker Hughes and Raytheon Systems Company.

She began her consulting career with Lord & Hogan in 1993, providing training and team development seminars in the Houston area.  During this time, she pursued informal studies in the areas of Emotional Intelligence and Organizational Dynamics.  In April of 2000, she founded Edmondson Consulting Group, working  with business leaders and corporate teams to increase the effectiveness of their communication, resolve conflicts and improve interpersonal work relationships.

Ms. Edmondson began working intensively with Bowen Theory in January of 2006, and attended the Post Graduate program at the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family in Washington D.C. from 2006-2008.  The focus of her research and work with business clients is to explore ways in which anxiousness impacts individual and corporate behavior,  especially during times of significant transition and organizational change.  She is currently developing programs and materials to assist teams, managers, and executive leaders in learning how to respond more thoughtfully and less reactively to the stressors they face.

Teresa Edmondson currently serves as faculty at CSNSF , providing coaching for Consultation Seminars and assisting with various programs and seminars offered at the Center.  She also participates in the Advanced Study Seminar at CSNSF, focusing on applying Bowen Theory to business and organizational challenges.

She graduated summa cum laude from William Jewell College, holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Houston and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She is also a Certified Birkman Consultant.
